Kathleen Castellano

Kathleen (Kathy) Castellano is Sr. Vice President, Relationship Manager, with Stonegate Bank.  Kathy moved to Englewood in 1976 from Brooklyn, NY.  She began her banking career in 1969 with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co., NYC and has continued in banking from 1976 in Florida.  Starting with a community Savings and Loan in Englewood which in turn was acquired by SouthTrust Bank and subsequently Wachovia Bank, Kathy retired with 31 years tenure and in 2007 joined Florida Shores Bank, a newly chartered community bank headquartered in Venice, now Stonegate Bank.   Over the years, Kathy has held many volunteer/board positions in the community including Business & Professional Women of Englewood/Venice (BPW), Englewood YMCA Advisory Board, United Way of South Sarasota County, United Way of South Sarasota County Foundation Board, Englewood Women's Council Realtors.  She currently is serving as a Director on the United Way of South Sarasota County Board and an Advisory Board member of the Englewood YMCA.  Kathy also serves on the board of a non-profit foundation, Wobbly Feet Foundation, Inc., whose mission is to raise funds for research of a cure for a rare childhood disease, A-T.  Kathy participated in Leadership Englewood, class of 2010, and was named BPW Woman of the Year in 2008.

Crystal Burritt 

Crystal moved from Michigan to Englewood in Jan 2010 with her husband, Jake. Together they have 4 children. After earning her degree in Business Accounting she enjoyed a successful career with Credit Union One in Michigan and  Healthplex, a Sarasota Memorial subsidiary. In 2013, she began working for the YMCA in Englewood and Venice which lead to a front desk position at SKY Academy-Venice for a short time. Crystal is now mostly a stay at home mom who likes volunteering in both the private and public school system and as the Children's Ministry Director for her Church, Edgewater UMC in North Port.

Heather LeBeau

Heather LaBeau is a Certified Public Accountant with Mercier CPA Associates, PA.  Before obtaining her BS in accounting from the University of South Florida, Heather worked as both a teller and an accounting clerk for Englewood bank.  She has volunteered her time at both Vineland Elementary School and SKY Academy Englewood, while her children attended the schools. In addition, Heather currently holds volunteer/board member positions as treasurer for a number of nonprofit organizations including Cub Scout Pack 26, Business and Professional Women of Englewood/Venice, and Englewood Beach Waterfest.

Anne Smith

Anne Smith is a fifth grade teacher in her 15th year in Sarasota County.  She currently teaches ELA Englewood Elementary. Anne is from Michigan and received her Teaching Degree from Western Michigan University where she also earned a certification in Early Childhood Development.  Anne has three children, including a son who is currently a 7th Grader at Sky Academy Venice. Her two adult step-daughters both graduated from Lemon Bay High School. Anne is an active member of the YMCA where she enjoys working out regularly.  She is a big FSU fan and enjoys watching sports and spending time with her family in free time.

Nick Laterza

Deputy Laterza is with the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.  He was born and raised in Queens, New York.  He moved to Florida and graduated from Sarasota Military Academy.  He first started his law enforcement career as an Explorer with the Venice Police Department.  He is a graduate of the 74th Corrections Academy as well as the 12th crossover to Law Enforcement Academy.  Before working for the Sheriff's office he was employed by the Sarasota County Hospital District, Department of Public Safety, where he worked patrol for about two and a half years.  Deputy Laterza was the school Safety Deputy of SKY Englewood during the 2018-2019 school year. During this time he worked with students to guide them towards being positive influences in their community. Deputy Laterza continues  his support of students at SKY through the sheriff's activity league.
