Mrs. Sisson

Hello everyone and welcome to my site. My name is Isel Sisson and I am teacher here at Sky. Proud wife, mother of 4 lovely boys and 2 wonderful dogs. This is my 4th year at Sky Academy Englewood as well as my 14th year as an educator. Before Sky Academy I taught in Cleveland OH for a decade. I have taught all core courses in middle school, for most of my years, and taught 10th grade American History as well. My expertise areas include Bilingual Education, ESE and Advanced. Here at Sky I have had the pleasure of teaching World History, US History, Civics, Heath Research and Spanish. For the 2018-19 school year I wil be teaching 8th grade Civics and 6th/7th grade Technology/Health Research. Aside from teaching I have the honor of coaching different sports here at Sky. I have coached Boys/Girls basketball as well as our Championship Softball Team. As a teacher and a parent at Sky Academy Englewood I look forward to all the wonderful activities we have planned for this school year and I am so grateful to be a part of it.
