Megan Coatney

Hello!  My name is Megan Coatney, and I am a home-grown SKY Family YMCA teacher. I grew up in Venice, participating in YMCA basketball and attending the YMCA camp.

After graduating from Flagler College, I began working at the same YMCA camps that I used to attend. After two years of working at the YMCA preschool, I was hired as a reading teacher/ESE aide for SKY Academy Venice. The following year, SKY Englewood opened, and I helped open the new school.

I have happily been here ever since. During my past ten years at SKY Academy, I have been a dedicated intensive reading teacher, coach, booster club member, student council sponsor, and all-around SKY supporter.
